While being in a period of transition, sometimes looking at the future can be scary. Nothing feels like it usually feels. Left feels right, and down feels up, and vice versa. You feel unsure of your next steps. You can’t see your way forward. You aren’t sure of what’s to come. You aren’t sure if you will fail or succeed. To be honest, you aren’t sure or certain of anything.
However as Christian believers, we serve a God who knows what’s to come. Seek Him and His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and seek direction from Him. Stay close to Him in prayer and in your quiet time. Ask Him for wisdom, guidance, strategy, and instructions and let Him take you by the hand and lead the way. You don’t need to know all the steps you must take in the long run. All you need to do right now is take one step at a time. Take one moment at a time. Take one day at a time. All things WILL work together for your good (Romans 8:28) and at the right time, God’s appointed time, everything will fall into place (Isaiah 60:22).
